Are Steve Blum and Richard Epcar Teasing KP2 For MK11?

Post by Roy Arkon »

Steve Blum & Richard Epcar both had very important roles in the voice acting department for NetherRealm Studios games, and they might have just threw us teases for Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat 11.

First, Blum has posted this image on his Instagram page, showing a picture of the Warner Bros. water tower, indicating that he is working on something with WB or that is related to them, which can indicate something that is related to NRS, such as MK11.

Then Epcar also posted a picture of the WB water tower on his instagram page, following with another image of himself in a studio, while also tagging NRS and stating that "if we knew what he was recording, we would've squeal like a pig", indicating even further that this might have something to do with MK11.

As you might know, Blum was the voice for several characters in NRS games. He was the voice of Reptile, Sub-Zero and Bo' Rai Cho in Mortal Kombat XL, as well as the voice for Sub-Zero and Green Lantern in Injustice 2, and most recently the voice for Sub-Zero and Baraka in MK11. If Blum does come back for KP2, it's extremely likely that he will reprise his role as Reptile like he did in MKXL.

Epcar had portrayed the roles of both Raiden and the Joker since Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe throughout both the Mortal Kombat and Injustice franchises. It's unclear what character he might voice next for MK11 though.

Stay tune for more news regarding MK11 and KP2.
