Gameplay Details:
- The first Variation for Kitana being shown in this Kombat Kast will be one of her official Variations under Tournament format.
- Kitana can use Mileena's Sai Dagger in a stance that leads to more attack options afterwards.
- D'Vorah has an ability in which one of her babies comes out of her when she loses a match, the player can control the baby and it has it's own moveset. The opponent has to defeat the baby in order to defeat D'Vorah completely. This ability is similar to Jason Voorhees' Resurrection ability in his Unstoppable Variation in Mortal Kombat XL.
- MK11 will feature an in-game currency called Time Crystals, which can be purchased with real money and lets you directly purchase skins, pieces of gear, intro and victory animations, easy fatalities (a consumable that simplify the inputs for fatalities), and other cosmetic items.
- Players won't be able to buy anything that alters there characters actual combat prowess or moves, however, such as custom moves or augments (which are the stat modifiers that are plugged into gear), as well as the consumable power-ups that can be used in the Towers of Time mode.
- Players can, however, earn everything in the game without paying for it. The Time Crystals can shortcut the way to obtain those cosmetic items, but they are not required to do so. There is absolutely no pay-to-win aspect in MK11 whatsoever.
Misc:
- No Kombat Kast next week, but there will be a Kombat Kast on Monday, 04/22/19, the day before the official launch of MK11.
