Is The Doom Slayer Being Teased For Mortal Kombat 11?

A couple of days ago, Mortal Kombat Co-Creator and head of NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon was asked by a Twitter user if the Doomguy, the protagonist of the Doom franchise, AKA the Doom Slayer in the rebooted portion of the series, will be included in Mortal Kombat 11, and Boon responded in a joking fashion with this Tweet. Then, the official Doom Twitter account responded to Boon with this Tweet.

Considering that Doom is a very gory and brutal franchise, that Doom Slayer fights in a style that can fit perfectly in an MK game, and that Doom Eternal, the newest game in the franchise, has already been announced some time ago and is in the works, it is a good possibility that Doom Slayer will make it to MK11. Only time will tell.

We all just shouldn't forget to take it all with a grain of salt until something is officially confirmed.

But I totally agree on this one. We as fans do need things like this to survive till launch
