Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios unveil Noob Saibot, previously Sub Zero, a fallen warrior, resurrected by the Netherrealm sorcerer Quan Chi to fulfill a dark objective. A faithful servant and a recent addition to the Brotherhood of Shadow, he plays a key role in helping Shao Kahn in his acquisition of Earthrealm. This intense video focuses on Noob Saibot’s vicious fighting style as he steps closer to his own mysterious shadowy mission.

That is undoubtedly the best I have EVER seen Noob Saibot!!! I love the look so much and jeez did you see that x-ray attack?!

The chains around her hips look so great! Don't you find the lace and corset a bit too corny? I mean, Kitana has it, Mileena has it, even Tanya got a bit of it in MK:D. Feel free to think otherwise, but to me MK:SM had the best designs for females of all MK games to date. Kitana had the top of her chest covered by a translucent fabric, Jade had the fancy hair pins now seen in the 'retro' costume, and Mileena had the veil that disguised the fact that her jaw is probably much bigger than that of other females (helps keep out the drool maybe?).
Noob Saibot
I never liked the fact that he was all black but this time he appears nicely detailed. His hood is somewhat similar to Scorpion's primary MK:D outfit (he DID have kind of a loose-fitting hood and not a tight-fitting one like his alternate costume). His moves are a nod to the Noob-Smoke thing which is quite interesting, too.

Too bad the odds are that there will be just ONE story mode. Anyone ever played Soul Calibur 3? The story mode had different characters follow their own paths, facing the same opponents but in a different order and for different reasons, all of which was meticulously explained in the loading-screen narratives. The segmentation into chapters from MKvsDC dumbed each character's story down a great deal, and Seeing every single character INTERACT with others (possibly with different intro battle cries) would be heaven! Remember Kitana saying 'I am not so easily fooled, assassin of Outworld!' in MKvsDC? Wish she could always say that to all Outworld-born characters, same for others.

Cannot agree more. Noob Saibot is one of my favorite characters ever since the old days and the Genesis/Mega Drive era. It is really great to have him back.

The fact that they kept him unrevealed for so long as they did was great. Better would probably been to not announce him at all and to put him in the game as super secret unlockable character like he usually is. But may be they wanted to use him heavily in story mode and had no other choice, after all Noob Saibot is the reason Sub-Zero becomes who he is.

His moves look amazing too. His clone makes a return and that X-Ray move

It will be great if we see how the elder Sub-Zero turns into Noob Saibot in story mode.

Jade, Ermac and Sindel looked great as well. The game seems really fast, which is good.

i wonder if he will get a classic ninja suit...

I hope he does. I don't insist of seeing his skin. It's just too human and Noob Saibot is everything else but human. I hope that he would have a great alternative.

tecnically, havik is every thing but human, noob still has human properties but the darkness of his skin is just bothering.

When I said "everything but human", I didn't mean that he doesn't have arms, legs, etc...

His soul, his being is what I had in mind.

And btw. Havik isn't human, he is from Chaos realm, not from Earthrealm. And don't forget, Havik was supposed to be an alternative outfit for Noob Saibot in Deception.

No Problem. You can see him if you look careful enough. He is in other scenes too. For example:

- The first Dead Pool fight
- The Living Forest fight in Tag Team against Sindel
- The Living Forest fight in Tag Team against Jade (the screenshot above)

I wonder if the special edition is still going for the 3 stores = the 3 main ninjas? what store is Ermac for?

so far only 4 classic costumes have been confirmed for the ninjas, Sub-Zero,Scorp,Reptile and Ermac's.

Noob Saibot looks great and fights great in that video, I'm glad they're designing them to look better than ever.
