I read somewhere that this statue in the desert was of the Queen Sindel...dont know if its true

It definitely looks like her.

The name of the arena "Jades Desert" also hints that the location of this place is Edenia.

we already saw a lot of scorpion and sun-zero. I think other characters need some attemtion too.
