1-In The Trailer You See Kung Lao Put The Hat On The Ground & Grabs His Oponent On The Ground To Cut him in Half
2-In The Theatrical Entrance You Can See Kung Lao Cuts Johnny Cage In Half Immediatly !!!

We did not see a lot of people in the announcement trailer, this does not mean that they are not in the game. When Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe was announced, we saw only 4. We should actually be happy that they showed us so much this time.

In my opinion there are a lot more important and more deeply involved in the story characters that need to be in the game than these 4. May be Daegon is the one with the most deepest storyline out of the 4.

I THink Goro's Lair Must Be In MK9 But It Would Seem Weird To Have Goro's Lair Arena And Not Having Him In The Game
And There Is A Level That I Assume Looks Like Metropolis But What The Heck Warner Brothers Edition OF Mortal Kombat 9

I would love to see all MK1 and MKII arenas.
Plus several from the newer games like: Prison, Scorpion's Lair, The Lost World, Meteor Storm, Reptile's Lair, Falling Cliffs.

If they are rebooting storyline as well and want to keep the current stories but to tell them in a better way, then the game might have the story of MK1 and proably more.

Mortal Kombat: Shalin Monks contains storylines only from the Mk1/MKII time period.

Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe is not a canon Mortal Kombat game. Its story is completely independent from the original Mortal Kombat storyline.
