Switch To .NET

Mortal Kombat Secrets is back. Not in the way we want but the site is online again.

A few days ago the old domain name becomes unuseable. So we had to switch as fast as possible to MKSecrets.Net. This change wasn't planned so we couldn't inform all of you about it. The .com domain will probably be active again in August this year. So we will have both .com and .net

Losses and Changes:
- All of our visitors
- .com domain lost for long time
- The posts in our forums from 01.02.2004 to 04.02.2004
- All the links on other webpages are now broken
- A new .Net E-Mail address

I want to ask you a favor. If you know some of the people, who are MKSecrets visitors or are webmasters of sites, that have a link to us, please inform them about the change.

Mortal Kombat Secrets still has a lot to offer. Support it in this hard moment and help it survive so it can always be "The Most Informative Mortal Kombat Source On The Net".

I thought MK Secrets was gone. Luckly I got an email.

I had the opportunity to send an e-mail only to the members from the forums, because their e-mail addreses were in the forums database. But for the rest I can't do anything to inform them. I sent about 120 e-mail these days. I hope that the visitors will help too.

The worst thing is that I keep receiving e-mails from Fail Delivery System, which shows that some of the forum members used wrong e-mail addreses to register. So I think to activate the forum e-mail check system.

I just fixed some bugs on the forums:

- The background works again
- The icon13.gif was replaced with new working image
- The database was fixed. All .com links are now changed with .net All emoticons work fine

If you find something wrong somewhere inform me pls.

It is because of the .eml file. Your mail was rejected.

I true reason. the problem was that I wasn't the owner of the domain. The owner was my hosting company. A month ago they decided to change one of their servers (Mortal Kombat Secrets was on it) so they had to move the site. Unknown to me and to them too one of the PC's of the registrant, that they use crashed during the last year and the information about the passwords of all domain names was lost. So noone has an access to the control panel of the .com domain and noone can change the DNS after my host turned off the old server. So the .com domain leads to nowhere and it will be so untill the registration period expired. After that I will register it again and Mortal Kombat Secrets will have both .com and .net domains.

I received an email too, which is lucky.

I sent an e-mails to all forum members hoping to bring them back to the new site.

Will the search engines also be updated to the change?

Hope so. According to my statistics google bot had visited the site yesterday. If the web spiders don't do it I will add it. But I will wait a little, because the site bacomes a higher status if the web robots index it by themselves

i was so surprised when i couldnt open the site then i received 1 mail from ded_, 10x ded_ for that! and e-mails from mksecrets, 10x that informed me! Gambid in this moment im not able to make any changes on my site maybe later ill fix the link to mksecrets!

I just fixed the submition forms. All (News, Links and Poll submition forms) should work ok.
