omg, finally somebody thinks the same as me. i've been saying that it's baraka on other forums for months now, no one else seems to think so. look at the facts ppl:

-he's on the main menu.
-he has a FMV where he fights mileena.
-in the trailer, the eyes that everyone thinks are the DK's are actually baraka's (turn up the brightness on your monitor, u'll see the teeth).
-in most MK's there was a huge, monster boss, and a normal sized playable character as another boss.
-he is the DK's best soldier/general, w/e.
-he's like the most evil person on the character select screen.

if it is baraka we shouldn't be able to pick him. it should be like the first three mks you can't choose the sub boss or the main boss. i hated the fact that we could pick quan chi and shinnok (MK4) quan chi and shang tsung(MKDA) that' crap

Yeah, or we should be able to pick them and if we do there should be a substitute sub-boss and main boss.

I posted this on the shao Kahn thread but I think its pretty relevant here too.

Ed Boon: Uh, yes, actually the mid-boss character in Deception is one of the few . It's gonna be, uh, one of the hottest characters we've had in Mortal Kombat, and will end up being a character you can play as, and our plan right now is to have the Dragon King as the last boss character.
