Well I think he took Kung Lao place so he sucks.

yeah he did sort of take Kung Lao's place. But i dont get y only he aged while none of the others did

maybe, i think they sort of messed up, if it were me, i might've made him train with some of the characters when they were young too

Ohh. But it wouldn't make sense. Shujinko started his quest way before MK1. So if they were to the right age, they would be like 10-year olds. Except for Kitana and Immortals.
