Online versus US (from Europe)

Hi,

My brother lives in the US, i live in Germany. I have the UK version of the game, he has the US version of the game. I want to play with (against) him online, but i can't.

Even when we create custom games, we cannot join those of the other one.

Is there a way for us to play together? (except for either of us buying another version of the game?)

Do you guys have the XBox 360 or the PlayStation 3 version.

I live in Germany and when I try to access the online modes with my German account it just doesn't work and with it I can't download DLC's too. What I did was to create a UK account and with it I can go online and see all the downloadable content for the game. Stupid USK rating system
I have an XBox 360 btw.

What you can try is to create a US-Acount and try with it. Don't really know whether the game itself is somehow restricted, but it is possible.

We both have ps3-Versions of the game.

I have a german psn account, a uk psn account and an us psn account. I normally play with my german account. I can only buy DLC for UK-games from the UK Account. He has the DLC for mk9 on his US account, i downloaded it, but it didn't work. Guess DLCs are separate.

I tried playing with him from US and German accounts. Neither worked.

Do you get some sort of error message. Sorry I am not really familiar with the PS3 world. May be some of the others can help.

It tells us to insert the correct disc (the mortal kombat game disc), but the disc is already inserted.

Then may be there is some sort of incompatibility between the two versions. You can check the version number of the game.
