Now go to Arcade mode and when you get to the living forest fight klassic smoke. Defeat Smoke, and the play the ladder all the way through. Now go back to the options screen and turn subtitles off. Next go to the krypt and unlock the secret chests. Go back to the options screen and turn subtitles on. Fight in ladder mode and if you did this right when you get to Goro/Kintaro you will fight Kintaro/Goro right after defeat. Defeat Shao Kahn and when you win your ending has subtitles that don't match up with what they're saying and stay for the kredits because they're is a new background to them (not tellin) and the screen will say you unlocked HIDDEN FIGHTER RUB-HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally that long. Pick Ermac and pick costume 3 and you will fight as him
