(PS3) screen is stretched out

I have a Sanyo television and it is on 4:3 but the problem is the screen is stretched. Can somebody help me/give me a advice?

well idk all i c on the tv iz flat screen on the bottom right corner of the television and it looks like a 4:3

be sure to use the s-video component cables and that your tv res is at least 1024x768

the easier way is to connect a pc to it and use dual view option from your graphic card. the AV cables are the component s-video ones, the others are HD.

is only mkdc stretched or all games you are playing on ps3?
