Hello, I read for MK9 that it is impossible to create a DLC skin using a character's primary costume as the source - is that correct? Just wondering as I only see alt outfits used for DLC skins.

You can use any costume you want. The alt costumes are used to easily create new slots for them

Okay, I was able to mod a primary costume for Scorpion and use the MKKEGeneric Renamer to make the file name CHAR_Jax_C and install it as a costume. Works perfectly in versus, training, and arcade mode. I tried it as CHAR_Rn_F at first, but that crashes arcade mode with how DLC files are loaded.

No idea what UMK 3.3 is but all characters are hardcoded

umk 3.3 is the sequel to ultimate boss mod made by howardc. I have it too, it adds the klassic characters, bosses and chameleon/khameleon
