Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance On The Top

by Gambid on Jan 19, 2003 :: 0

According to a small article posted on Midway's website Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance reached 1 million sold copies in the time between its premiere on 22nd November 2002 and the end of the last year. Here is only a part from this article:

CHICAGO – January 13, 2003 - Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY), a leading software industry publisher and developer, announced today that Mortal Kombat®: Deadly AllianceTM has sold through more than one million units across all platforms between its November 22 launch and the end of 2002. The game is currently available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the XboxTM video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCubeTM and Game Boy® Advance. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is scheduled to launch in Europe in February 2003.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is the best fighting game of year 2002. So tell GameSpot and IGN, two of the most popular gamesites:

The leading gaming sites have also recognized Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance as a top choice. GameSpot declared the game “Best fighting game of 2002” for Xbox and Nintendo GameCube and IGN included it among its “Editor’s Choice Awards” for Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2.

This Guide is compatible with XBox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube only. The guide for the GBA version of the game will come as soon as possible.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance in Europe:

by Gambid on Nov 28, 2002 :: 0

According to the latest news on Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance the Release Date for Europe is somewhere in February 2003. We do not have a concrete date yet. The game will come so late on the old continent, because from Midway want to translate the game in French, German, Italian, Russian and other languages. It will be really cool to have your own copy of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance in your own language. I think that's a good idea. I do not know, if there is going to be other deference between the version.

We are back:

Mortal Kombat Secrets is back. The site was 5 days down. It was not our fault. The hosting services, we use had problems and they needed to move all their sites to a new server.

We apologize for the inconvenience!

Mokap

by Gambid on Nov 20, 2002 :: 0

As you already know Mokap is one of the hidden characters who were soon discovered with Blaze (other hidden character) by fans. The both fighters are locked in the krypt. More about them you can learn from our Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance section.

I want to inform you now about one movie where you can see one of Mokap's special moves and his outfit. The movie is actually not new. It is one of the DVD Content Videos. I only want to tell you that Midway shown this character a month ago, but no one knew, that it was a new character. I think it happened so, because in this movie you cannot see Mokap himself, you see an actor in his suit making his special move.

If you haven't seen this video yet, here is the direct link for download.
