Six New MK: Shaolin Monks Screenshots

A few days ago TeamXBox has added six new Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks screenshots. One of them shows the arena Warrior Shrine from the original Mortal Kombat.

MK: Deception Evolution 2005 Pre-Register Program!

Mortal Kombat fan site Mortal Kombat Online has announced that best fighting game of 2004 Mortal Kombat: Deception has been included into the world's greatest fighting tournament, the Evolution Fighting Game Championship! This tournament will take place this August at Las Vegas, Nevada from the 12th-14th.

In order for Mortal Kombat: Deception to be officially included in the Evolution Fighting Game Championship tournament this summer, a minimum 100 fans must sign up for this event. You can pre-register for this event at evo2k.com. For more information visit the Mortal Kombat Online website.

MK: Deception Wins GamePro's Readers Choice Award

Mortal Kombat: Deception has won Best Fighting Game in the May 2005 edition of the GamePro Magazine. Below is a part of the article:

Deception's combination of Puzzle Kombat, Chess, and the time-consuming Konquest mode shot it to the number one slot. Fan favorite Dragon Ball Z ranked a surprising third, with the lovely ladies of DOA Ultimate landing at a solid second.
