Ever since Midway first acknowledged the existence of Mortal Kombat VI
with us in mid-2003, the company has been eerily quiet regarding the

definite that we're going to see it this year. Expect to see more
interactive environments, multiple fatalities, and the ever-elusive
online play when this one is officially announced over the next couple

On the 7th of January 2004 Midway registered
the trademark Mortal Kombat Deception. If this will be the name of the
next Mortal Kombat game is not sure yet. There is no official
confirmation from Midway.

The release date for MK6 from the last news
was confirmed by IGN in their Release Date Report. According to this
information the Play Station 2 version of the game will ship October
2004.
