News Archive - October 2002 26.10.2002 Yesterday I received a new newsletter from Midway. The most interesting info in it is that the GBA version of the game will not appear on 22nd November with all others. It will ship on the 6th December.
26.10.2002 IGN published 3 new movies, in .mov format, and 13 screenshots at their website. This media features only Kenshi. It is taken from the XBox version of the game. To download all this, click here.
26.10.2002 GemeSpot published 12 new MK: DA screenshots, taken from the PS2 version of the game. There are two screenshots of the new selectscreen. You can see all of these images here.
24.10.2002 Pocket IGN has posted the first Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance review. It is based on the final GBA version of the game. There are many good thing about the game in this article. So I strongly recommend you to read it here.

10 PS2 movies
23.10.2002 IGN just released 10 new MK: DA movies of the Xbox version of the game. The movies are in .mov format, so you will need to get QuickTime if you want to see them. This is a direct link to the media.
23.10.2002 The new issue of the Bulgarian Games and Software Magazine PCMania has one new MK: DA trailer on the magazine CD. The movie is not completely new but during the first 20 seconds of it you can watch a never seen before fight between Scorpion and Quan Chi. Unfortunately I can't give you an URL for downloading right now. Here are some screenshots from this trailer. I will also try to make it available from download as soon as possible.
21.10.2002 Planet GameCube posted a new photo from Cube Club in Los Angeles. On this image you can see a new, very good looking selectscreen for MK: DA. Now there are 21 fighters on it, with seven rows of three, the new one is the vampire Nitara.
This selectscreen is very different from that we saw at E3
19.10.2002 IGN updated their information about the Cube Club event in Los Angeles with an article about MK: DA. The article includes three videos. Unfortunately they are only available to IGN Insider members. At these addresses you can read some of the first impressions from the game.

17.10.2002 The Mortal Kombat Gate site posted new screenshots from the all three versions of MK: DA without the GBA version. On this site you will find 5 new renders of Scorpion (2), Sub-Zero, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. So go and see them now at www.mkgate.8m.com.
13.10.2002 Yesterday IGN published a small MK: DA article, where you will find 25 new screenshots, taken from the GBA version of the game. The GBA version features12 characters, 7 free (Kenshi, Scorpion, Sonya, Jax, Frost, Li Mae, Kung Lao) and 5 hidden (Sub-Zero, Kitana, Kano, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung). The GBA version will also have a couple of mini-games between fights, including Test Your Might and Test Your Sight. Here are thre of all 25 screenshots. To get the rest click here. 09.10.2002 The WWE has now a new content about Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. There you will find some new never seen before screenshots plus one new movie in the commercial section.
