Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition - In Development Mortal Kombat Advance II When the game was originally announced, the very first title that was given was Mortal Kombat Advance II. As a result a lot of fans were worried because of the association with Mortal Kombat Advance, that was previously released for Nintendo GBA. Thankfully Midway announced only a few days later that the new game has nothing to do with Mortal Kombat Advance and that the team behind it is actually the one that worked on the GBA version of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Revenge The name of the game was changed one more time later during the development stage. The new title was Mortal Kombat: Deadly Revenge. Back in 2003 the game was supposed to have a different storyline from Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Unfortunately the storyline was kept unchanged, probably because of the upcoming Mortal Kombat Deception. "Deadly Revenge" can still be seen in the instruction manual of the game. |
