Mortal Kombat Gold - Kodes And Secrets

Cheat Menu:
At the title screen tap Up, Up, D, D, L, L, R, R. You will hear "Outstanding" if you do it right. Press the Start button to advance to the main menu. Press L + R to activate the cheat menu.

From the cheat menu you can activate some of the Kombat Kodes with the difference that these will remain active during the entire game:

00 - Nothing
01 - Big Head Mode Active
02 - Throwing Disabled
03 - Maximum Damage Disabled
04 - Throwing and Max Damage Disabled
05 - Unlimited Run
06 - Free Weapon
07 - Random Weapons
08 - Armed and Dangerous

15 - Noob Saibot Mode

Hidden Characters:
To play as one of the hidden characters activate the Cheat Menu.

Noob Saibot:
Highlight the Hidden option. Then press and hold L + R. While still holding this buttons, select Reiko with the A button.

Goro:
Highlight the Hidden option. Then press and hold L + R. While still holding this buttons, select Shinnok with the A button.

Sektor:
Highlight the Hidden option. Then press and hold L + R. While still holding this buttons, select Cyrax with the A button.

Meat:
Begin a two-player game and select Group Mode. Win all 20 consecutive matches. After your last win with Quan Chi, Meat will replace your chosen character with all the same moves.

Alternate costumes:
If you just choose a fighter, you will play with his/her primary outfit. Now, if you rotate the icon of the fighter a certain number of times before choosing it you will get a different one. In order to rotate an icon, hold the START button and press any action button. Below is a list of all alternate character outfits.

Enter one of the following kodes to activate the corresponding effect.

111-111 - Kode 1: Free Weapon
100-100 - Kode 2: Throwing Disabled
444-444 - Kode 3: Armed and Dangerous
666-666 - Kode 4: Silent Kombat

555-555 - Kode 8: Many Weapons
002-002 - Kode 11: Weapon Kombat

Choose Your Destiny:
Use Start button to rotate the tower before choosing it.

Characters bios:
Go to Kombat Theater, highlight a character, and simply press the Run button.

Goro's Lair Fatality Extras:
Hold Down after doing the Goro's Lair Fatality with any character, and the victim will slide off the spikes and fall back to the ground, a bloody mess. Dan Forden will say his classic "Toasty!"

Offensive Words:
If you enter an offensive word at the "Greatest Warrior is..." screen, such as "DIK" or "FUK", those initials will be replaced with MK co-creator Ed Boon's initials, "TRA" or "MAB".
