MK4 Enhanced is a patch for Mortal Kombat 4. It will update your fighter 3D models with models taken from Dream Cast's Mortal Kombat Gold. Polygon limit per scene is changed from 3,000 to 10,000 - so a cool 3D card is required. This patch was made by Sorcerer. You can visit his personal web page here. He also made MK4Strip, a small program that lets you change graphics, geometry and sounds in Mortal Kombat 4.

Changes in Mortal Kombat 4 Enhanced:

1. Polygon limit per scene jump from 3000 to 10000.
2. More detailed fighters.
3. This patch can add 4 new fighters, never seen in Mortal Kombat 4. Unfortunately they are only skins and they take the place of other MK4 characters using all their moves.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q1. Why Baraka, Sektor and Kitana are not in the MK4E?
A1. Kitana is in, but putting in Sektor and Baraka will require removing
somebody of MK4 fighters. Also, Baraka's model is not 100% compatible
with MK4. His head is in a wrong place. Also, Cyrax's head is slightly
moved, you can see it.

Q2: Is it possible to update the stages, misc. objects (e.g. blood...) and
weapons?
A2: Yes, but it'll require much work. Maybe it will be done.

Q3: Can you not just put a model of a MKG fighter instead of MK4 fighter, but add a fighter with all his moves, fatalities, etc?
A3: It is possible, but very hard to do. I won't do it.
