Random Select:
Press Up + Start (Up + LP for PS2,
NGC, Xbox) on Liu Kang (For
Player One) and on Reptile (For Player Two).
Play Pong:
Finish the game 250 times with one character and in the next game
you will play Pong.
Fight
Jade:
To find and fight Jade, wait until just before the "?" match in a
one-player game. During this match, you must win one round using ONLY
the LK and the direction pad. If you did it correctly you will be
transported to Goro's Lair, and you will fight Jade.
Jade occasionally drops down during a match and gives clues on how to
reach her. Here is a list of everything that she says.

Fight Smoke: To reach Smoke, you must fight a match on the
Portal stage. This can be done during a one or two player game. As the
match progresses, keep your eyes open for MKII's Sound Designer, Dan
Forden. He'll make a brief appearance in the lower-right corner of the
screen and will say "Toasty". While Dan's face is on the screen, hold
Down and press Start. If you did it correctly you will be transported to
Goro's Lair to fight Smoke.
Smoke occasionally drops down during a
match and gives clues on how to reach him. Here is a list of everything
that he says.

Note: This kode does
not work on PS2, XBox, NGC and PSP. The kode works on MAT: DE after
installing an official patch for the game.
Fight Noob Saibot:
To find and fight Noob Saibot, you must win 50 matches in a row in
two-player mode. (You only have to win 25 matches in a row in the Sega
Genesis version) If you did that, you will be transported to Goro's Lair
and will fight Noob Saibot there.
Stage Fatality
Extras:
Dead Pool: Hold D + BL (D for Sega Genesis, Sega32X) after Stage
Fatality to hear Oh Wow.
Kombat Tomb: Hold D + BL + Start (D for Sega Genesis, Sega32X) to force
the opponent to fall from the spikes after a Stage Fatality.
Disabling Throws:
Press and hold D + HP for both players before the match starts to
disable throwing.
Note: This kode does not work on Sega
Genesis and Sega 32X.
Secret Messages:
These messages randomly appear
after beating the game. They basically serve no purpose, only to fuel
the rumors and keep the fans pumping in the quarters.

Cheat Menu:
On the credits screen type "AICULEDSSUL" and on the Akklaim logo
press [F9]. The cheat menu will appear.
DIP Switches Menu:
Enter the options menu by pressing [F10]. Now type with capital letters
"DIP". The switches menu will appear.
Unfortunately no one can tell what these switches do, probably nothing.

Test Mode:
Go to the options screen and place the cursor beside the word Done.
Then press B, D, B, F, D, F, B, B, F, F and Test Mode will appear on the
menu.
Fergality:
Use this code above to access Test Mode. Make sure Oooh Nasty is
activated. Use Rayden in the Armory stage and try this Fatality: B, B,
B, BL.

From the title screen, go to Options. At the Options screen, highlight

Switches Menu:
As soon as the opening cinematics start, enter D, U, L, L, A, R, D, B,
Y, C (Saturn gamepad) or D, U, B, B, LP, F, D, BL, Run, LK. Now go to
the Main Menu, and you will see a new option named "Switches." You can
turn on 1-hit wins, continuous "Toasty!", and more.

Beat up the Logo:
When you turn on the SNES, hold L and R. Watch Shao Kahn and
Kintaro beat up the Acclaim logo.
Elimination Mode:
Hold L and R at the main menu. This code will enable an 8-player
elimination mode.

Blood On/Off:
Type FIONA on the screen where you can select between "START" and
"OPTIONS..." The screen will flash green and turns the blood off. If you
type it again the screen will flash red and turns the blood on.
Cheat Menu:
Type WEDZEB in the "OPTIONS" screen and a new option called
"DIAGNOSTICS..." will appear. Select this option for a list of cheat
options (no damage to player, 1 hit kills player etc.)
