Hector Sanchez Has Left Netherrealm Studios
by Gambid on Feb 2, 2014 :: 4 Comments

Producer Hector Sanchez announced back in November that he is leaving Netherrealm Studios. Hector Sanchez has worked at Netherrealm for several years and was part of the development process of Mortal Kombat Unchained, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) and Injustice: Gods Among Us:

After many years, today is my last day here @MK_NetherRealm as I move on to another adventure. It's been an absolutely AMAZING experience.

We wish Hector all the best and thank him for his work and devotion to the franchise. He is the second familiar face to leave the series, after Mortal Kombat: Legacy director Kevin Tancharoen left the Mortal Kombat Movie Reboot in November.

Kevin Tancharoen rose to popularity among the Mortal Kombat fans, after accidentally releasing his Mortal Kombat short Mortal Kombat Rebirth on YouTube. The clip quickly gathered millions of views and eventually led to a job at Warner Bros, where he directed the first and the second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy and was working on a movie reboot:

The details which led to him leaving the project are currently unknown. How this will affect the production of the new movie and the possible third season of the series is also not clear.

We Have Moved, Again
by Gambid on Oct 13, 2013 :: 2 Comments

Reading this news means that you are now visiting us on our new server. Yes, we moved again, only after an year spent on our previous server. There are two reasons that forced us to move the website:

- Server issues, which forced us to reboot the server every 6 hours. Downtimes which most of you might have noticed.
- Sluggish performance, which resulted in slow responses and an overall bad browsing experience.
- We reached the amount of space which we had on our previous server, so a move was necessary in order to host all upcoming videos and all amazing Mortal Kombat 9 PC Skins

After two days of migration, everything finally seems to be working OK. However, if you run into a problem, let us know.

Best Regards!!!
