Cyber Character Photoshop Files
Cyber Character Photoshop Files
Here's the files I used to edit the cyber characters' colors. All you need to do is edit the color overlay on the DIFF files and copy the PMSK's you want to use. You only actually need to use the files for the head you want the character to have.
A basic description (for those interested) is that the red areas in the vanilla PMSK's are where color will show up on the characters. What I did was remove the red areas and then put them over the DIFF files and recolor them.

You're great
Re: Cyber Character Photoshop Files
after all, I was doing the right thing apparently.. but even with your files I get this, in the end
(I should clear out this, just in case, I've been working with that CyberSubZero mod that you guys made before the MKXL patch, where you put the Triborg model on the BlueSteel SubZero slot..)Re: Cyber Character Photoshop Files
You have to start off with the base Triborg and mod him from there. Applying textures to characters with material swaps does that. Learned that when making my unmasked Scorpion costumea.martin wrote:after all, I was doing the right thing apparently.. but even with your files I get this, in the end(I should clear out this, just in case, I've been working with that CyberSubZero mod that you guys made before the MKXL patch, where you put the Triborg model on the BlueSteel SubZero slot..)

All hail Fulgore from Killer Instinct. RELEASE THAT AS A FULGORE MOD!a.martin wrote:after all, I was doing the right thing apparently.. but even with your files I get this, in the end(I should clear out this, just in case, I've been working with that CyberSubZero mod that you guys made before the MKXL patch, where you put the Triborg model on the BlueSteel SubZero slot..)
BTW your error is because of the luminosity. Use MKKE Color Picker to change that.
Re: Cyber Character Photoshop Files
Is it really? I thought it was just messed up texture references thanks to material swapping.thethiny wrote: All hail Fulgore from Killer Instinct. RELEASE THAT AS A FULGORE MOD!

You need to open the psd file in photoshop and change the color overlay fx to the color you want to use.condratiy wrote:How i can use it? Every head is yellow and body too. Am i need to use color picker?

What you need to do is edit the color overlay fx on both "Body.psd" and whichever head you want to use and then save them over the original texture.condratiy wrote: thanks.

Re: Cyber Character Photoshop Files
Chappy do you know an easy way to edit Triborg's textures? They are so confusing :/
Re: Cyber Character Photoshop Files
I don't know how to change the actual textures very well. I only figured out an easy way for essentially palette swaps, but the actual textures are incredibly confusing to look at.
