DLC Manager Not Working

So, I use HowardC's DLC Manager 2.1, 2.5, and 2.6. None of them have problems installing characters onto the games, but when I try to open the mkke.exe, the game doesn't work. Not even the Mortal Kombat icon shows up. My mouse just flashes for a split second before my computer does nothing. Any suggestions?

I've already done this multiple times. The game works just fine if I don't use the DLC Managers, and fails to load when I do.

Do you have the steam version?If yes,that is the problem.

some mod´s ini file is wrongly written. You just need to replace your coalesced.ini. DLC managers have nothing to do, neither the game version.

Something I've noticed is that I cannot do this on my computer, but if I use someone else's with the exact same files, it works. Any ideas as to why that is?

It would be easier to just show everyone the problem.

try replacing the coalesced.ini file with a clean one. It seems it gets corrupted in some way. I had those problems too and just uninstalling the mods does not help..
Uninstall your mods, replace your coalesced.ini file, install just one of the mods and run the game. Doing so you should notice which mod is affecting your game.

I leave you a backup for all coalesced files. You can uninstall your mods and then replace all the coalesced files with these ones just to make things cleaner. These files belong to v1.07 but i think you´ll have not problems in using them for other versions.. anyway be careful and always make backups.

Something i notice in your vid was that you installed Rain´s alt without using the Alt Costume mod, which allows you to install alternate costumes for the 4 DLC chars (freddy, rain, skarlet and kenshi). I´m about 99% sure that your problem is right there.. you can´t add alternate costumes for these 4 characters without installing the costume mod first.

However, in the second video that I posted pertaining no this topic, I never installed the Alternate Rain costume. I only installed the General Baraka mod and it still didn't work.

you´re right.. it´s pretty strange. I already tested the mod but it works fine for me. Let me see if i can find something

EDIT: ..and do you have CHAR_Baraka_B.xxx untouched?. I really doubt that´s the cause of the problem indeed.

The character is the stock version of MKKE. In other words, yes, untouched.
