Nope, we cannot inject/modify meshes. Not only that but I'm not even sure if we know the format the Vita uses.

I think Vita version use .pskx format for meshes, but PC version use .skeletalmesh. I tried find some .xxx packages from Vita version, but i cannot find anything :(

If importing new meshes to xxx packages was possible, we could use models from Vita version despite they are not so high-quality as PC's models. We need someone who fully understand Unreal engine 3 and have some experience with .skeletalmesh format :(

Completely agree! Many of the actual advancements in tools came very early in the MK9 lifecycle, and were basically only updated to make them work on PC. The MK9 PC scene basically only had a vocal few, like Howard.

Look at the amazing things that were accomplished with games like SFxT & Super Street Fighter series. I'm hoping with MKX being released simultaneously in all platforms it will mean that more people will get interested in figuring stuff out. One can only hope!

Yep, i hope too that MKX release will bring more people to MK9-X modding and someone finally find some way to bring new meshes to game or way how to create own .xxx packages, that is all i wanted!
