Fan Fiction - A Tale of the Adventures of Wave - Act IX: A New Adventure

Wave now had new friends to help him in his search for Scorpion and Noob Saibot. Scortch, Inferno, Sean Marsiniak, and Zack all had agreed to let him tag along. He didn't know how long this friendship would last. Sean had been telling Wave about his plans for revenge on all of them. Sean expected to exact his vengeance soon. They all were walking along a slope in Earthrealm and Scortch saw his master Scorpion, but Wave saw his greatest enemy. Wave ran headlong down the slope and Scorpion shot a spear out of his hand. Wave prepared for impact but the spear flew past him and hit Scortch. The spear withdrew itself back into Scorpion? s hand and he started to glow green. He turned into a man with a beard and long black hair. Shang Tsung! He looked at Zack and Sean and smirked.
"I see the evil inside both of you! I WILL AWAKEN IT!"
Sean and Zack floated and red light formed around their bodies as they dissolved into two red orbs. They darted towards each other and collided forming one red orb.
"Now presenting my creation, Marsinizack!" yelled Shang Tsung.
The red orb shaped into a human being and then it showed the whole body. It was a fusion of Zack and Sean and had both of their physical features mixed into one.
"Now! Destroy them!"
"Yes master."
Even their voice was mixed together to form a whole different tone. Marsinizack raised his hand and a large ball of energy seemed to form in the palm his hand. The all of a sudden, the voice of a girl could be heard from behind him.
"Stop!"
It was the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, Jackie Cage. She was also the girlfriend of Zack and one of Sean's friends as well.
"Zack, is that you?"
"Jackie?" asked Marsinizack.
"What are you doing!? Stop flirting with your girlfriend and finish them!" yelled a furious Shang Tsung.
Marsinizack just stood there confused and not knowing what to do.
"Fine! If you don't finish them I will, starting with the little girl!"
Shang Tsung punched Jackie and she started to fall. Before she hit the ground he grabbed her neck and sucked the soul right out of her body. Marsinizack looked on in horror as a small, green orb floated out of her mouth. This was Wave's chance, he ran down the slope and jump kicked Marsinizack in the stomach. As Wave's foot made contact with the fusion-made human a crack formed and sprouted off into many cracks. Soon enough, Marsinizack exploded in an array of fragments. Sean fell on the ground but Zack ran headlong into Shang Tsung, it was already too late. Shang Tsung dropped the girl to the ground and Zack started to hit Shang Tsung continuously. Blood flew out of every pore on Shang Tsung's body by the time Zack finished with him. Wave jumped in and a silent agreement was made. Zack grabbed one arm and Wave grabbed the other. They pulled and the arms detached from Shang Tsung's body. Blood spewed and screams escaped Shang's mouth rarely as Zack beat him with it. Wave went behind Shang Tsung and grabbed his long hair. He pulled Shang's head back and stared at him in disgust before pulling out his katana and decapitating him. Blood caked the ground and sprayed all over Wave's uniform but he didn't really mind.
"Fatality, creep."
Zack and Sean both knelt down beside her. Zack checked her pulse but it was no use, she was dead. Wave looked at the decapitated body of Shang Tsung and a green essence leaked out of his limp torso. The essence formed into a ball and exploded in an explosion of green souls. One took the shape of Jackie and floated over to Zack. He stared in disbelief and was about to say something when she put a finger up to his mouth.
"We'll be together always"
She took her finger off his mouth and gave him a passionate kiss on the lips. She ten turned back into the orb that was her soul and flew upwards into the great paradise that awaited her and Wave couldn't help but to smile and a single, solitary tear rolled down his cheek. He could feel everyone else doing the same thing that he was right then.
"Come on, let's go you guys. She's in a better place now." Zack said.
Wave nodded and started to walk with Zack and everyone else followed.
"You know Johnny's going to be really torn up about this. You or Sean are going to have to tell him sometime." said Wave.
"I know, when that time come I'm going to be ready." Zack said.
"Good."
