Fan Fiction - A Tale of the Adventures of Wave - Act IV: Advancing

Wave awoke and got dressed. He walked out of the small hut he resided in and then remembered, the map! He ran back inside and looked in the drawer he put it in. It was gone! He ran out the door and saw Scortch run away with a piece of parchment in his hand, the map! Wave ran after him and caught up to him in a matter of minutes.
"Scortch! What are you doing with my map?"
"I deserve to be in that class! Anyone with this map is allowed in, so I stole it from you so that I can take my rightful place in the advanced class!"
"I'll kill you!"
Scortch ran, but Wave disappeared and re-appeared in front of Scortch with his arms crossed. Wave kicked Scortch in the stomach and Scortch flew backwards into a tree. Scortch quickly leapt up and jumped at Wave. Wave dodged the attack, narrowly, and kicked Scortch in the ribs as he flew by. Scortch landed roughly on the ground and he spat out blood while trying to get up. He finally became upright and threw a package on the ground. A cloud of smoke appeared and when it dissipated, Scortch had disappeared.
"Damn him to hell, he still has the map!"
Wave continued on his journey to find the advanced training grounds though, he now didn't know where he was going. Luckily SubZero was on his way to check up on Wave and just happened to pass by him.
"What are you doing out of class?"
"I never found class."
"How come, I gave you a map didn't I?"
"Your star pupil isn't as shining as you might of thought master, no disrespect intended. He stole the map from me so that he could be in the class."
"I've explained to him that there are reasons why I keep him out of that class. We'll have to have a long talk about this, him and I. Let me escort you to the remainder of your class."
"Thank you master."
SubZero started to walk deeper into the forest next to the temple and Wave followed. After a few minutes of walking they came to a door in which a large building was attached. SubZero knocked on the door in a strange pattern and the door opened automatically. SubZero stretched his arm out cordially and Wave walked inside. Wave walked into a large room with test dummies and different weapons mounted all over the wall. He walked through a long hall and into a smaller room with desks filled with students and a teacher at a board in the middle of the room writing different battle strategies.
"It is about time you joined us today, Mr. Wave. You came just about the time Mr. Scortch did."
Wave stared at Scortch, and Scortch just waved at him. Wave just cringed.
"I'm sorry I was late sir I got?" he glared at Scortch "a little sidetracked."
"Well, let's hope that you don't make a habit of it Mr. Wave! Please take your seat."
Wave sat down in the nearest desk and the teacher turned to his board again.
"As I was saying, Maneuver Ice & Water combines a water and an ice user to make a strategic attack and fatality?"
Wave glanced over at Scortch and Scortch smile mischievously. That's when Wave knew that Scortch and him were going to have serious problems.
