Fan Fiction - A Tale of the Adventures of Wave - Act II: Meet the Instructors

Wave awoke in the same feathery bed though he couldn't help but to wonder if that was all a crazy dream? His query was answered as SubZero entered the room carrying a tray of hot soup.
"Welcome to the Earth, I think you'll like it here." said SubZero with a
grin.
He had his faceplate off. It revealed all of what a normal man's face would look like except for the bluer-than-blue eyes and the deep scar going from the bottom of his forehead to the top of his cheekbone.
"How long have I been sleeping, master?"
"You've been dead to the world for almost two days. I'm surprised you remember our conversation the other day."
"I'm sorry"
"It's alright, training begins after you finish your food."
With one last smile, he walked out of the room and left Wave to his soup and hot coco.

Wave appeared a half of an hour later, fully geared in his newly acquired Lin Kuei uniform. SubZero was in the courtyard with a cyborg looking thing and a beautiful woman.
Wave walked into the courtyard and SubZero waved him over. SubZero threw his arm around Wave's shoulder and introduced him to Smoke, a human disguised in the body of a machine. SubZero explained that a long time ago, there was once another Grand Master that thought he could make the perfect assassin by converting people into cyborgs. Smoke and SubZero refused and ran away, only SubZero made it out whilst maintaining his humanity. Afterwards, when the former Grand Master died, SubZero took it upon himself to return Smoke to his former, human glory. Most of Smoke's human features where a lost cause to try to repair, but Smoke got his memory back. He also regained his face, arms and legs back as well.
Then he introduced Frost, the most beautiful woman that was ever sighted on Earth, according to Wave. SubZero explained that she was one of the advanced pupils that share the same freezing abilities as he. Wave stared at her, and she returned his stare with an even deeper one. Then she spoke:
"I hear you got beaten pretty bad up on the Mountain of Endless Waves a few days ago."
Wave blushed a deep shade of red and went on with the conversation:
"Yes, that would be true."
"Who did it to you?"
The shade of red that was embarrassment suddenly turned into a blazing red of anger and frustration.
"That despicable duo, Scorpion and Noob Saibot."
"Honey? that's horrible. I'm really sorry for bringing it?"
"Please, don't apologize. It was my fault for being weak."
Wave bowed his head in shame. Frost was about to say something else, but SubZero intervened obviously sensing the frustration building upon Wave.
"Well, we are your instructors!"
Wave raised his head and a sparkle twinkled in his eye as all the instructors bowed at him.
"Well then, let's get started shall we masters?"
