Fan Fiction - A Tale of the Adventures of Wave - Act I

There he was, his foot almost slipping off the Mountain of Endless Waves. He knew that he was going to die. Scorpion and Noob Saibot approached his slowly. Scorpion released an extreme punch to Giryau Hamidiko's abdomen. All the air rushed out of his lungs quickly as he plummeted down into the intense waves below him. He hit the water harshly, and every ounce of air was knocked out of his lungs, everything went black.

SubZero was running along an icy road near the Mountain of Endless Waves. He loved the sight of the waves crashing against the rocks at the bottom, near the road. He looked up onto the top of the mountain and saw three figures fighting atop it. SubZero waved the sight away because he had seen plenty of fighting in his present occupation. Then, one of the figures punched another and the other flew off the side of the top and came falling into the waves where he met the water rather harshly. SubZero ran onto the shore as the man washed up. He had no shirt on and black pants with blue hair bearing silver streaks through it. He had blue eyes and bandages on his feet. SubZero, feeling concerned, picked him up and carried him to the nearby Lin Kuei temple.

Wave awoke to find himself on a comfortable, feather bed covered with a few blankets. He ripped the blankets off him but quickly put them back on his body. Wave gazed at the ice all around him and squeezed the blankets closer to him, glancing at his breath he gasped and started to run out of the room. A man dressed in a blue ninja garb stopped him at the door. He handed Giryau a ninja outfit just like his except for it was a lighter blue. ?What is your name?? asked the other man.
"Giryau Hamidiko, sir."
"Me and some of the others have nicknamed you Wave. Does that sound suitable?" asked the man.
"Yes sir, may I ask something?"
"Go on"
"For one, what is your name?"
"I am SubZero, master of all that is cold."
"Where am I?"
"You are at the Lin Kuei temple, this is a place where everyone with elemental powers are either practiced or taught. I would appreciate if I could take you under my wing and teach you how to harness your chi to make elemental abilities." said SubZero.
"Master?"
"Then it is settled. Your training begins tomorrow now get some rest. You will need it"
